We got a bag of free gummies in a MI store a couple years ago. That was probably the worst night of my life, kept waking up thinking I was being electrocuted and having a stroke. I realized the next day that a single gummy is a couple serving. How hard would it have been to make 1 gummy = 1 serving?

Amsterdam jazz people don't be like me and fuck up your chance to see Beyond Dragons (Angelika Niescier, Tomeka Reid, Eliza Salem) on 2/11. I wanted to see them at Berlin Jazz Fest but they're playing on 30/10 and I can only make it on 1/11 so I'm flying home on 2/11 while they're at Bimhuis 😪

Yeah, it goes against what people find intuitive but you don't get nearly as much of the varietal characteristics with wet hops, though it's true for lots of food products that drying is critical for flavor development.

I prefer dried hops to wet hops and generally find wet hop beers more special for being fun than incredible, but that's not a bad thing. It's nice having a truly seasonal beer and especially in the malignantly neglectful Dutch supply chain it's great to have hoppy beers you know are actually fresh!
