If Brian had to pick one image that sums up the soul of the Avatar verse, it would be that image of Aang from the opening where he's staring out at the valley. It's one of the first concept images Brian drew while they were developing the series. #ATLA #NYCC

Dante worked with Mako several times throughout his career. He says that Mako was like an Uncle Iroh to him in real life. Even when Mako passed away, he continued to teach Dante lessons. #ATLA #NYCC
