hot take? remove the cameras off of phones
if fire departments and ems weren't worthy of criticism why is there mass tv show propaganda like there are for cops?
this is partly (maybe) more of a reaction sentiment. but the way so many are contributing to the surveillance state by taking pictures and recording others is too much.

i know everything generally is expensive. but new hats being in the $30-$50+ range is obscene. what are we doing?
I honestly don't care if I get fired, I was an instrumental part of the Terry Rozier and Chauncey Billups gambling scandal.

My name is Kyle Kuzma, and I work for the Milwaukee Bucks.
would you care less if the standards were higher?

people just blindly accept work as is and in return you *might* get a few measly weeks of your life back a year. and then it's considered a "good benefit"

so pathetic.
that stems from work or die. at least to me, many things are preferable to standard 9-5's and content creation fits that flexible work model with wfh and hybrid options

NEW DISTRO ALERT!

Well, renewed distro alert. We’ll be back at The Potter’s House distributing supplies to our unhoused neighbors & anyone else who needs them every other week starting this coming Saturday!

We’re thrilled to be collaborating again & connecting with more neighbors!
i didn't say it's a bad thing. i said it's not socialism.

“a partial fix is worse than no fix because no fix will motivate a full fix” is a complex second order argument that should probably come with detailed analysis of the best available evidence and most accurate models, rather than sneering derision at anyone who prefers the partial fix to no fix.
you can just readily read marx. is that considered looking it up? he never said any of this. he not once said socialism is when government does some good things. try reading.

we live in a society where it's either work or die. and then people write think pieces on why many are depressed and lonely.
socialism isn't when the government does stuff. please learn the definition.
we gotta get rid of middle managers from society
we gotta have a conversation about using protests as photo ops again?
the whole "environmental impacts of ai are overblown" stuff is very interesting given that grok is literally causing smog in memphis. but what do i know
