No matter how many times I play #finalfantasyX, the ending will always leave me an absolute wreck of a man, it always makes me bawl. The game is just a roller coaster of emotions from start to finish, but it is a masterclass in story telling in world afflicted by the unending spiral of death.

In #FF9, Odin is integrated in Gaian mythology, but does that mean he is a Gaian Eidolon? Ipsen's castle is from Terra, left during the failed fusion, where we find Odin's sword emblazoned on the wall, hinting at his Terran origins. Reborn as a Gaian Eidolon thanks to Ipsen's memories.

If Final Fantasy IX remake turns out to be real, then it will just be as special to me, getting to experience it all over again in a different way.

I've played it so many times over its 25 year life span & I will continue to play it over & over, because it is just an incredibly special game to me. My favourite of all time that I have learned so much from, that has helped shape the person I am, even during those dark times.

Its depth and how everything works just blew me away. It was the catalyst to shifting from archaeology to game design, while I was never fortunate to make it into the industry, I still put my heart & soul to my writing and designs, to the level of depth that IX hits within my own universes.

history and mythology, it is one of my greatest passions in life. I often study different eras of our world to learn all I can about it. This moved over to gaming and wanting to discover every aspect of the world building the game has to offer. VII started this but IX really hit it home for me.

Despite going through dark struggles. Having that connection to something, that you resonate with on a personal level, its incredibly comforting. I still have those thoughts, but I don't act upon them. Instead I try and put my energy into something else, like my content creation. Final Fantasy IX
