Last Stop on Market Street by Matt de la Peña.

The future leader of my country likely can't read beyond this grade level and this has pictures. I think de la Peñas' book offers reading level appropriate insights that could stretch the future/former leader's mind a bit about society and people.

As someone who had to scrape by in the gig economy of academia before landing a tenure-track position, I have only two pieces of advice: write and skill up. Don't let that dissertation get stale. Publish. AND don't stop acquiring/developing other skills so you can seriously consider other careers.

Can someone explain how the NBA got so lax around travelling? It's so weird. It's such a basic basketball concept. I listen to people who are clearly new to basketball or never played, and they legit have no idea how travel rules work in the NBA and it's likely because refs don't call it.

Yesterday, my 7 year old asked me what vaping was. I had to explain what addictive substances were, including nicotine. We talked about tobacco, tar, and lung diseases. I'm grateful he asked me, and I'll be reading him this Duke Today article tonight at dinner.

The USPS will honor Betty White with her own stamp in 2025
Having received hundreds to thousands of fan mail each week, it's only fitting to honor White with a postage stamp.

Serrano got headbutted and then robbed. Then told the truth and outclassed Katie at the same time. Then her manager stole the mic and she had to stay in the ring longer with her head split open cause he mad. That woman fought for her life tonight. Get her some stitches and a ginger beer.

1 day off or 1 year. It's difficult either way. Sit down in front of the computer, open up that file, and go to work.
