Never let anyone shit on the NHS, it has funding problems and we need to support it, but dozens of lovely strangers efficiently conveyed me through one of the scariest moments in my life and that is a construction we can only be grateful for.

The bloods came back good this morning, I've been discharged with a letter and am free. Sitting out and absorbing the autumn sun on what may be one of Scotland's last nice days this year, and my first nice day in a week.

Nothing conclusive. Not one of the major culprits, and my body had basically beaten it by the time I was admitted anyway. The symptoms were a side effect of that

More positive update. We basically know what it is now and it doesn't require anything drastic at this stage. I'm still in hospital until some indicators in my blood behave but, heart functioning well, just had to fist fight a virus
