Gonna try to go through my back catalog and share a photo of the day as a pleasant thing to have on the timeline.

This is from a hike I did on the Ben Tyler trail a couple of months ago.

Insane but true fact: making US roads as safe as Canadian, Australian, or European roads would save more lives than eliminating murder from the US.

I very publicly said a nice thing about my city councilor because she is showing real leadership and she clipped the video and shared it and I was not ready for that.

Guess I've gotta quit my job and become an influencer.

One of my favorite bits is to start a conversation with "so I was reading about on a sports website I subscribe to", where is as far away from sports as possible (eg, creatures, cooking, statistics).

That's @defector.com , and they continue to put out amazing writing.

I've been reading Drive for years, can confirm, it's amazing. It's also a great time to hop in, since you can binge so, so much that's already out there.
Bluesky pals! I have a sci-fi graphic novel called DRIVE, & it's my favorite thing I've ever done! If you need a long, escapist read at the moment the entire thing is free to read, here: drivecomic.com

Taking a break from politics-posting: Skylark Lounge is a great venue, @danmanganmusic.com is truly phenomenal live (way better than I expected, and I had very high hopes), and I did not expect just how delightfully weird Stelth Ulvang would be on stage.

Denver is getting better because of changes we've made, choices to update the laws. This is so cool.
For decades, a prime but isolated corner parking lot at 4th & Broadway in Denver's Baker neighborhood was too small for traditional development.

Thanks to Denver's forthcoming single-stair code updates, KGA Architects is proposing a 5-story single-stair apt on this "forgotten lot"
