The massacre at Bondi Beach is the first in Australia for a long time, yet American based accounts act like it's the gun control laws that led to it.
Completely missing the fact that because of the gun controls we don't have mass shootings almost every day.

We just spent part of our morning on the dog beach and it's made me remember that I absolutely did not move to Australia for the sand, sea and sun.

I never thought being made redundant would have made me more confident than I've ever been, I actually thought it would be the opposite.
I got way too comfortable, relied on them too much, didn't think I could do anything else.

So, I took a little time away from social media to get my job hunting affairs in order and I can happily say I've accepted a great offer. VERY good pay, role development and a company vehicle.

Things are starting to look up, I was down for a little bit after I was made redundant at the start of this week. But I have a few interviews set up for next week by companies that approached ME. With luck I'll be back in work in the new year 😊

17 years I worked at this company, and I was made redundant with zero notice and no real explanation.
I’m angry, but if you take anything from this, don’t trust any company to give you the same loyalty you gave them. The only language they speak is money.

Accessibility settings shouldn’t be treated like fancy add-ons. They should be in every game so everyone can enjoy them, as long as they don’t impact the default design of the game 🕹️🎮
