You know I think Simeon Brown is starting to remind me of Jacob Rees-Mogg. The man from the 19th century
The first rule of fight club...
Still get to see the battle of the two Chris's. I suppose that has a certain ring to it
Not another leader called Chris
The young person is probably the milkmans child anyway
What does the tie do, strangle you and restrict the oxygen to the brain so you can't be naughty? Really don't think he knows what he's talking about really
I thought you were referring to a song. You know, like Murder on the Dance Floor.
Of course they would. The clean and green image they like to project to the world is a con
Shane Jones argument is as ridiculous as he is. I'm sure his brain dead followers will agree with him but that doesn't mean he's right. This is the same guy who denies the existence of maui dolphins. An utter clown. Earth will survive, but we might not.
This idea that by wearing a tie you improve the MPs behaviour is utter BS. It reflects a conservative attitude from the 19th century. Based on reckons not evidence.

Could also be previous Nat voters who hark for the old National that Peters started out in under Muldoon
I can't believe NZ First is going up. I suppose they're attracting more right leaning / socially conservative previous Labour voters like Nash
That's a badge of honour to be attacked by them.
That is so cringe worthy.
True but it would be a form of justice.
Labour should be banging on about out of control crime under National lead govt, like National did for them when they were in power. What swings around, goes around.

I don't think Luxon had any idea how devastating the scrapping of pay equity would be for them:

"The numbers reveal a widening gender gap: 41% of men hold a positive view of the Prime Minister, compared with only 31% of women."

This isn’t just rose-coloured retrospectivity; it’s also that absence* makes the heart grow fonder**

*of good, smart, positive, thoughtful leadership that instils confidence, and even pride

**of that one time we were lucky enough to have something like that #nzpol www.thepost.co.nz/politics/360...
Screenshot from the linked article, which reads: “The poll also shows that Luxon’s personal standing continues to deteriorate.

His net favourability has fallen to -24, down six points since June. Just 36% of voters now prefer him as Prime Minister, compared with 45% for Labour leader Chris Hipkins, who has extended his lead by two points since mid-year.

While Hipkins’ overall favourability has softened slightly to net 0 (down four points), he remains far more popular than Luxon.

[highlighted]
Former Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern continues to hold the highest public favourability, at +11.

The figures underline the growing pressure on Luxon’s leadership as economic anxiety and cost-of-living pressures dominate the political mood.”
I noticed that you blocked me for some strange reason. By the way, now I've found out how to, I block back if you block me, so keep that in mind.
Farmers vote, 18-19 year olds don't in large numbers. Also farmers, though not all, tend to vote Conservative to right wing, so there are perceived votes to be gained here. I think they feel they can get away with beating 18-19 year olds with a stick but not farmers.
Just like everyone else should, but like everyone else, they often don't. And like everyone else, there are people who claim to speak for them but don't.
Welcome to the club
The problem is that they don't agree on everything. That's why I say that F F doesn't represent all farmers views. So to say farmers are behind it because F F like it misrepresents the reality
They report that farmers are behind it. No, Federated Farmers are behind it. They don't represent all farmers views.
