Weapons was my horror film of the night. Eh it was alright, I get the general lukewarm reception I saw in some circles. Feels like made for tv and could’ve been a thriller miniseries instead. Also was able to predict what was going on pretty easily.

I feel like the indie gaming world kinda went through a really funny goofy animal almost shitpost era for like the past decade. There were so many weirdly good goofy animal sandbox games.

Game character creator but it's just like a mri scan manipulation and you can't tell what the outside of your character will look like until you hit complete.

Another entire genre that's been lost to time. Just straight vehicle destruction games. The main one I remember playing a ton was WarGames: Defcon 1.

For people who really like Control, I really recommend checking out the Rook series. I read the first two at least and they were really entertaining in a similar sort of magical realist intelligence world.

Once again, sorry for the lack of streams this week. Just usual big stress/tired on top of some pretty nasty stomach issues. Be back this weekend hopefully. I will actually have a decent chunk of time later this month before the holiday weeks too.

Played a good chunk of Octopath Traveler 0 today and it's very interesting. A bit tropey but it works because it's very sincere for the most part. The jp voice acting is really good. Biggest critique is I wish there was more party member interaction. It's mostly a silent protagonist type of game.

Kinda sucks for creatives that this is probably what this will result in. Makes me think of all the interviews that make you write code on the fly. Luckily my field generally does have to do that.

Played some Kingdom of Night today. Seems to lean on action adventure more than rpg. I am enjoying it but it leans a bit too heavy on the 80s stereotypes for my taste. Like it's THICK but I am willing to give it more time.

Gave the Marvel Cosmic Invasion demo a try to see if I wanted to grab it today and eh yeah I'll wait. Seems like a solid beatemup but I get the vibe the big draw is just the number of characters. The duo combo system seemed cool but I am not really willing to shell out 30 for it.

Gave the Marvel Cosmic Invasion demo a try to see if I wanted to grab it today and eh yeah I'll wait. Seems like a solid beatemup but I get the vibe the big draw is just the number of characters. The duo combo system seemed cool but I am not really willing to shell out 30 for it.
Manage to get a triple credit boost this weekend on Warframe so I've been running some index. Definitely one of the more tedious game modes. I hate trying to pick up the little green tags so much but managed to get 22 million credits so that's cool I guess.
