I keep reminding myself the season is still early...but considering where this team was 2 years ago, just have to savor the ride
FINAL: Pistons 122, Pacers 117. Led by 18, got it cut to two late before free throws from Cunningham and LeVert clinched it.

Pistons (15-2 overall) have tied their franchise record with 13-straight wins.

Staying overnight in a major chain hotel in supposed Big Ten country (NJ) and no Big Ten Network on the TV. Just an observation

We're living in one big scam
Trump has reportedly been in conversation with Paramount and his billionaire ally Larry Ellison about a potential takeover of CNN that would include firing journalists he dislikes.

Billionaire control of the media is a danger to us all.

And yet the fearless leaders in Washington (or whatever military base they're holed up at) say they're not fascists...

I will not yet get super excited about the Pistons.

It's amazing to me how many people sit in the Quiet Car on an Amtrak but still take a phone call...including the guy next to me.

Just read this...it's very bad.
Scripps owns WXYZ-TV in Detroit. If Bill Bonds were still alive he'd drop some f bombs about this.

The earliest anyone (or any business) should have a Christmas tree up is when Advent starts. And that for the Armenian Church starts next Sunday.

The defense is playing their tails off... And the offense (except Gibbs) is screwing it up.

And the special teams transmission is sagging...
It's only going to be a matter of time before it becomes 10-0 and it feels like 31-3 because the offense is burning oil.

Kick/punt return blocking is atrocious for the Lions.

In the words of my son, "yay we did it!... Can I turn it off?"

I'm getting annoyed with these annoying games. Time is better spent playing with my kid when he wakes up from his nap
November 15, 2025 at 6:47 PM
While I appreciate the Wrigley Field aura of this game, the punt and kicking camera angles are atrocious

I will be shocked if Toy Story 5 isn't my son's first visit to the cinema. Just seems right.

I once held a door open for Paul Tagliabue at Georgetown (he was on the board at the time), didn't realize it was him until he walked by me and we made eye contact. He just stared at me as if it was weird I was being chivalrous to hold the door open for him & didn't get a thank you. Oh well... RIP

I'm at DTW, McNamara terminal ... A handful of cancelations on the board but nothing crazy. Airport is actually not that busy for a Friday, was through security in a few minutes after arrival.
