I would rather be quiet about my belief system than shout it from the mountaintop. It's like who I voted for or my sexual preferences.
If she wants to be a freak and sell it on the weekend, it's none of your business.
The same with faith.

I don't think you're wrong! But, to me, that sort of "good living" isn't different from the Pharisees praying on the street corners.
Maybe don’t do that. To my understanding, tooting your own horn takes away the intent of your good deeds.

Again: NOT a Christian. Butnif you can "work" your way into Heaven, then Jesus died for nothing. It's belief in Jesus that gets you in. Not ordering the Heavenly value meal.

But that discounts grace. Most conservative Christians are more concerned with repentance than penance. You can't work it off, like picking up.an extra shift at Denny's.
Faith without works is dead, but you have to define and work within the parameters of Faith.

I'm not a Christian, but the fact that he thinks he can "earn" his way into Heaven shows an utter lack of understanding how Christianity works.
