Oh for sure, and that's why I'd be loathe to use it for just about anything, but any successful challenge to ai needs to account for the fact that outside of terminally online people the quality is probably indistinguishable from a google search.

And in some cases, probably higher quality.

All my questions had already been asked, but the answers were either a) people being mean about how the question was asked or b) suggesting that the asker's methods were wrong and instead re-writing the entire code to do something else.

Humans are also frustrating to get info from!

I've been taking a cert course for work and when I had coding questions the first place that comes up was stack overflow and it doesn't take long to see why people might use an llm.

people are never going to successfully combat LLMs as long as they remain intellectually dishonest about them.

these are not NFTs where they're expensive paperweights with a huge barrier of entry. to many average people who are not terribly online, LLMs are in fact fun, useful and practical.
