Woke up to a good part of the press going "oh no, they didn't win, it just happened that the hubs we earmarked for rapid development including some of the major industrial ports went communist or went socialist, and the mayor of Lisbon is now talking about compromise bc he didn't get majority."

I'm done. Most of the country is either red or pink. Oporto is pink, and the orange lead on Lisbon is ripe to get smaller as time comes. They're making big hay of the 3 places the hard rw got power but even the hard rw leader is disappointed on the results.

Lisbon's left coalition leader assumed defeat. She could have waited a bit more for a better lead for potential grid locking, but screw it.

All eyes are on Lisbon, which hasn't sent their results yet. It's where I live, but both major parties are doing preventive cope, both blaming the Zohran-like for killing the moment. The current PM seems to be confident, but Lisbon is also kinda big so we could end up with a 4 party deal here.

Current pm has stated that no, he won't quit the job if there's a socialist majority. Why would he bring that up when it's going to be halfsies is beyond me.
