Hi new Bluesky friends 👋 I’m Teddy - a game designer/director who co-led games like Hyper Light Drifter, Peabody Winner/pop group OFK, and the LA collective Glitch City! I’m working on some new games about action, music, life, fashion… I’ll get to talk about them soonish. For now, I’ve got fries.

I love the game design of RV There Yet - a co-op game of driving out of the wilds. It has a "wide band of responsibility"

Finally playing 13 Sentinels and UGH it’s so gorgeous. VanillaWare’s 2D art is always striking. Love the way they dynamically do light, character rim light, and lens flares. Not to mention the palettes

Keep thinking about this term "pre-digested" that Kojima used to describe art that's instantly gratifying. And how it's better when people grow to love something instead.
I've gravitated, as player and designer, toward the latter, but that term "pre-digested" is new and feels very strong.
