I’ve quite literally experienced that once — similar sized plane — I think there were maybe 6 passengers in total — couldn’t even see them once on board

Why isn’t anyone calling #AI Superficial Intelligence?
Seems to me that it is very good at coming up with responses that superficially resemble intelligence and I believe that is what lures people in — not what it actually does but what they think (hope) it might be doing or become capable of doing

A very long time ago I made a commitment that whenever something went wrong that I would find the root cause and then make a change such that the circumstances that allow that root cause to come about would never be allow to occur again
That was one of those pivotal moments

I watched something the other day that claimed: the only relationship in nature where something less powerful / capable successfully exerts control over something more so is that of the human child
So when #AI takes over at least we’ve got the playbook on how we might be able to control it 😳
