I have a few minutes before my first meeting of the day so let's do a mini NYC public libraries teach in.

There are three NYC Public Library Systems

1. NYPL - www.nypl.org
2. Queens Public Library - queenslibrary.org
3. Brooklyn Public Library - www.bklynlibrary.org
The New York Public Library
The New York Public Library (NYPL) has been an essential provider of free books, information, ideas, and education for all New Yorkers for more than 100 years.

You two are redwoods in the forest of my mind and spirit.
Is “Danger Zone” Kenny Loggins? I guess I need to know more songs to have a favorite.

(And this from someone who actually lives through the height of his popularity.)

I can be musically dumb.
This would read like an Onion headline if not for the so-called governance we’re under these days
This is in a broader conversation about what constitutes “enough”. Starting with the #Mathaphor of #PlaceValue … what is your base? How many in that base must accumulate to represent higher power? When is it sufficient compensation to Ones from whom Tens derive their worth?
At least one of the conditions revolves/resolves around whether we live for ourselves or with/for one another. That is, if we accept a common currency is useful for assigning value to labor, then purpose of labor has to be examined. Are we working to make anyone rich or to fulfill community needs?
I believe you can live the work you do. The instant it must be acknowledged you have to trade that work for basic needs is where the love diminishes.

In order to have the consistent feeling, we need to demand different conditions.

I think we can lay the groundwork to win this. @hammerandhope.bsky.social ran an interview with the folks who won Build Public Renewables in New York, lessons there worth checking out

Stop trying to make Fetch(Cuomo) happen. You cant want the epstein files released AND stump for a serial sexual assaulter.
Hurts I haven’t looked at a sunset in a good minute.
What a difference “a day” makes 🎶🎶
It’s wild to me that a potential sign of neurodivergence is wanting things to make sense

The government said they aren’t releasing SNAP benefits in November — but ALDI is helping families out. Their Thanksgiving meal bundle feeds 10 people for just $40! 🦃 Available now through Christmas Eve, it includes 21 items (like a 14-lb turkey + sides). Share this with everyone!

Our fantastic grassroots education conference is happening on the same day as the October No Kings protests (we selected the date last year). I hope educators will choose us!

Right? They have to go somewhere.

Easy money on the chapters being dismantled and the members becoming unpaid volunteers somehow. As long as they keep their heads down and their names shrouded, they will find a way to keep nonsensing
