hard to swallow pills: positioning the south as evil, despicable, and unsalvageable despite the many (primarly black) discriminated crowds there does not only silence the voices fighting back the political right here but also aids the political right in keeping their power through intentional lack of education, worker's rights, and necessary aid. shut the fuck up and stop determining what a population is like based on the widely-accepted-as-bullshit electoral college
