my latest investigation for @consumerreports.org is based on months of reporting and 60+ lab tests of leading protein supplements

we found that most protein powders and shakes have more lead in one serving than our experts say is safe to have in a day (🧵)

"“While I strongly support the author’s goal of establishing necessary safeguards for the safe use of AI by minors, (the bill) imposes such broad restrictions on the use of conversational AI tools that it may unintentionally lead to a total ban on the use of these products by minors,” Newsom said."

I have ontological problems with the idea of a plate of chips melted together with cheese being referred to as nachos. It is clearly one connected object

This from a guy who picked up Thor's hammer.
Captain America speaking in the thick of battle:
Let's not get carried away.
I've known good vampires. People who never asked for this curse, who didn't inflict their pain and hunger on others.
But I've never known a good Nazi.

In Portland, an ambulance was summoned to the ICE office to treat an injured protester (not clear how he was injured). But when the patient was loaded inside, ICE officers refused to let the ambulance leave and threatened to shoot the ambulance driver: www.wweek.com/news/2025/10...
Documents Allege a Federal Agent at Portland ICE Threatened to Shoot an Ambulance Driver
Feds delayed medics who had come to pick up an injured protester. Then, according to confidential incident reports, the agents became aggressive.

Real yes men don't come cheap! But fake ones, we can all afford those (unless you count the long-term ecological damage). So now anybody that wants to can interact with a machine that will preface every reply to you with "that's a very insightful observation." Wow, I'm really impressing this LLM!

That's why EM was so upset by getting flamed on Twitter that he couldn't just log off like he should have. He got so used to everyone treating everything he did as genius that he actually began to think of himself as an oracle(!) and so ended up engaging in increasingly grandiose, criminal activity

The reason billionaires are so weird is because they have staff who interact with the world on behalf of the billionaire (since they're afraid to). This includes their social interactions, so they're are not used to talking to anyone that they don't pay to defer to them.

I think that's true. The way these weirdos are genocidal fash and setting up doomsday compounds while attempting to impregnate as many people as possible with their own genetic information suggests to me that they are planning a decimation of the general population
