I love this... cause the original irl story of Rebekah Harkness was that she stole the neighbors CAT and dyed it key lime green.....

but Taylor changed it to dog...

And in a recent interview she says that the fans still don’t know what the Black Dog is about. Which brings us back to the possibility that she may actually be referencing the Black Cat, a historic spot in the LGBTQ civil rights movement

Someone here had a thought that maybe when she references “dogs,” she actually means “cats.” And I’m thinking about that again because this line in wishlist felt so weird because she’s called her three cats her children and herself a childless cat lady.
