Feel like retreating to your own island away from the chaos and heartbreak of these days?

I have the game for you: Eilands.

It’s along the lines of Tiny Glade and Townscaper, but the focus is on nature.
Still in early development. Stay in touch for more info!

Never watched The Man From Distant Cousin but I hear it’s good.

… I’ll show myself out
Nice! Would help to also add a trail or something to sell it.
Really looking forward to this game:

Made by the cool folks @badcog.bsky.social. Give them a follow!
It Takes a Tribe on Steam

I think KSP still qualifies with that definition? Yeah your rockets explode a lot but you can hit a button and rewind to the launchpad and try again and again. The learning curve is steep, I'll give you that, but 4 out of 5 ain't bad!
Depends on how you define cozy. There is the aesthetic and then there’s the design philosophy. My definition of cozy is “play over game” i.e. sandbox-like freedom instead of strict win/lose conditions. Kerbal Space Program for instance would qualify as cozy for me.
lol Netflix are u trying to start a fight?

A hard truth is that the search for artificial general intelligence as a commercial tool is fundamentally a reproduction of slavery. Not because computers are people or anything so silly, but because of the impetus: To acquire the products of humanity without the need for a human to consent.
Working with Unity terrains? Are you adding or removing trees and runtime? Having issues with colliders not matching the tree state? Apparently Unity won't refresh tree colliders unless you disable/re-enable the whole terrain collider. If you have a better way of doing it, let me know!
Indeed, gamedev does it too. It sucks because I only have 1-2 hours for either, so the cooldown ends up eating into my sleep time.
Finally done with all the undo/redo commands. Every action in the game can now be rolled back and reapplied!

And boy, did that surface a ton of technical debt, but it's all under control now... 😅 #gamedev (reported with alt text)
Points for Shepard tone wtf escalator
You take Earth’s air over there of course and blow it into the void. We’ll all have robot bodies by then so we won’t need air.
Enjoying Battlefield but on nights I play, it takes me forever to fall asleep. Does this happen to anyone else?
Here I thought the Quattro part sounded like Audi Quattro. All good. Unintended dad joke still counts!
I’m thinking I might be in the market for a community builder/social media marketer type of person for my game some time in the near future. Know anyone who’s got a good grasp of the cozy game audiences?
This has enough cheese to be a dad joke. Dad approved!
