Authors of "cozy" mysteries (solved by amateurs, not police) suddenly drop in quality over time. Karen Menuhin's Heathcliff Lennox series was great fun for 9 novels and abruptly got formulaic and boring. But TA Williams is still good, in spite of writing them faster than I can read them. 📚
