Got line of sight working & some sample enemies
(had to write my own raycasting since I'm not using Godot's collision system)

Also put together a transition between the roaming state & the turn-based state. Next up is the combat system!

Pair-a-Site's script was rushed in a single semester while juggling a ton of college classes - having a strict deadline is nice in its own right, but getting the time to actually write my story this time around is fukkn great

Honestly would be a cool mechanic to have built in to the game regardless for things like adding Ty Lee as a character who can temporarily disable bending - or Aang having a level 3 that removes bending

It would be horribly unbalanced and make some matchups hell - but would be hilarious

I get why hex grids are never used for small scale maps cuz they just don't work at all with human infrastructure, but man do I have a hex grid game I wanna make

I do enjoy getting bodied in games, but only if its enough to understand how I lost. The few times I tried UNI online the opponent just started moving and then my healthbar was gone :P

I might be down to play Uni sometime - I tried one of the older versions but had no friends to play it with & the online was just me getting curbstomped without the chance to learn

Biggest reason I've struggled to get into fighting games is that I'm better than all my local friends, but I'm complete trash against the general online public

Also I've found fighting games are best when played casually & locally just for the community factor

The whole Salvation & Checkmate setup was cool and all, but they spent the season finale setting up the next arc without anything to resolve or even leave an update on the season's main arc

Feels like it should've been the first episode of S3 not the last episode of S2

Peacemaker season finale was a perfectly fine episode, but it felt nothing like a finale.

They should have at least touched Earth X a bit to build up where that's going. As it stands, the finale closed every character arc except what was happening on the other world.

The lemonade I get at the store used to be too sweet so I'd have to water it down before I drank it.
