Here's a simple research agent concept we're building in market.dev

The landing page, lead gen forms, CRM and a contract library all come built in when you sign up, with agents tied into as many workflows as possible

What if it was this easy to stay up to date with all the developer communities you care about?

One of the resources we built at @market.dev is a data pipeline from the most popular and emerging open source ecosystems

This pipeline is actively categorizing and sorting through millions of open source projects & their builders across 315+ developer communities.

I enjoy working with Next but as a Rails developer I missed being able to see all my app routes in a single file like routes.rb

So I created a quick script that I run in dev mode, it's super useful. Lots more to improve, but here's the gist if you're interested.

Idea:

What if marketing for open source projects was as integrated into the development process as CI/CD

A Github action triggered on every release, with some well crafted marketing materials - a blog post, maybe a thread, for you to approve / edit before posting.

If you're an independent consultant and are willing to try out some new stuff we're building at @market.dev, please DM. Would appreciate some beta testers for a new feature.

This was so fun to make - Keynote, Screen Studio, iMovie and Suno for the audio.
2024 was the first year we started working on Gitwallet. It’s been a year full of listening, learning, and experimentation.

We shipped a TON of product and helped hundreds of developers set up shop on their path to independence.

Thank you to everyone who made it possible.

I'm fortunate in that I can comfortably volunteer my time to work on OSS right now. But for many OSS devs, volunteerism is not sustainable.

That's why earlier this year I backed GitWallet.co. It's a platform that helps OSS devs provide paid services & products derived from their work. Check it out.

AI is very cool but I’m getting overwhelmed by too many people selling the “you should code here now!!” thing

#Toronto Bluesky! This is for you:

Last month we started an code-along workshop series called PROGRAM. Each event is an active walkthrough of a software concept, framework or open source project. In PROGRAM 01, 35+ people built their first AI agents.

We just announced PROGRAM 02: CODEGRAPHS👇

Today, we launched Prospects, a new primitive on www.gitwallet.co.

As a developer, Prospects are a new way to collect leads for your business and are fully integrated as a new type of checkout experience, available to embed on your site or anywhere else.

One of the biggest problems with UI development is about to be solved!

Customizable brings allows us to create totally custom dropdowns with HTML and CSS.

Accessible, gracefully degrades and requires no JS!

My advent calendar this year is to onboard a developer to Gitwallet.co every day, guide them to setup an independent business, and help them get their first sale. Let's see if this works!

I've been working closely with the libp2p and IPFS teams recently and they just posted an exciting blog post about how they're making it easier to use IPFS to host any website. Some really cool stuff here blog.ipfs.tech/2024-shipyar...
