Hmm, appreciate the sentiment. But as a therapist-in-training, I've observed that for some people it's not possible to cry, because it's too dangerous to be that vulnerable, or they've locked that part of themselves away.

ARM YOUR KIDS WITH THIS ADVICE:
Whenever humans get together there will be differences of opinion
Prepare kids to expect/ deal with that, instead of framing every difference as 'meanness'.
It will help them deal take it less personally.
