Took Bess out to Makara to find the selkies had built a house on the beach.

Reminder that I set a contemporary m/m romance in this wild place (no selkies in it tho).

It is a great title! But yeah, if fear for MY barely started LIFE didn’t inspire me to care about field hockey? Nothing will make me learn about the version we play on ice. Although I suppose the whole ‘you forgot
your kit, so you have to play in your special sports knickers’ could be a scene.

…oh no, when I run out of scheduled stuff to think about that is when the UNSCHEDULED stuff pops up. The brain worms are in charge of Unscheduled and you cannot trust them. At best it is ‘…remember that time when you were 11 and coughed so hard you farted in class?’

I have one (1) idea for a hockey romance and I can never write it because I know very little about any of the hockeys (despite playing the standard version for six years as a teenager) and also my absolute phobia of dentists. But Tooth meet Puck would have been AWESOME if not for those hurdles.

One time I got home from work, had dinner, and decided to make soup in a frenzy of not wasting food. Left it to cook on the hob while I had a shower, watched TV, went to bed…got back from work the next day about 8 and there was a funny smell…? Did not get soup! Killed a pan though.
