i think isolation is a huge reason we’re so divided here. interaction and community stifles a lot of this “i hate u because i’m afraid and i don’t actually know u so i can dehumanize the caricature i’ve created of u.” thats why they want to destroy education and push things like AI.

i buy it to listen to, so i actually open the records. but i’ve been collecting since 2008 or so, and when i moved across an ocean, my collection was wayyyy to heavy to move. i collect CDs now, but it’s harder because sometimes they don’t even press a CD!
