Yeah, I've watched some remodeling time-lapsed videos that show removing the subfloor to install a water barrier that's lower than the floor itself. It's doable; my place is just too small to do what I want with a bathroom in general.

Oh, that looks sweet. Were you considering other "veritcal" mice? I'm thinking about switching for ergonomic reasons, but I don't know much about what's out there.

It depends on who I'm talking to. My fursona doesn't exist in the real world, so it doesn't make sense to me to talk to my fursona about things like getting a job or doing the dishes or whatever. But emotionally, I can say things like, "You deserve a snack and a nap, Tailsy; don't feel guilty."

The dream is to have a wet room with linear drains and a free-standing tub, but I don't think that's reasonable in my house today. If we ever get to move, then I'm keeping my wish list in mind for the next place.

Of course I do, but sharing them on social media is just riding the Express Lanes to being bullied or cancelled. These are the kinds of things I talk about in person, where it's more common to listen generously with the goal of reaching a shared understanding.

Once October and fall weather arrive I get the itch to make something with my hands, away from a computer: woodworking, sewing, painting, cooking. Home improvement projects suddenly appear less daunting; of course I can install my own flooring and cut my own tile! I have YouTube.

I truly don't believe you are going to die alone! I understand that you're concerned because you're not making an effort and wondering if that will change, but it seems like the job has you in suspended animation a bit–personal concerns are on the back-burner. That part can change.
