Lost World was close but chickened out at the last second. But I respect the attempt.

Generations had nothing but whatever, it's mostly ignoreable. Haven't seen the changes that Sonic X Shadow Generations did yet so we will see there.

You can disagree with me as much as you want that it ended with Sonic Forces. I don't care. Sonic Forces doesn't have Sonic Colors tone vibes to me. I don't feel it there. I feel safe in Sonic Forces.

GAMEPLAYWISE, yeah fair. But TONEWISE, I'm pretty happy. Has a couple iffy lines but oh well.

Okay here's the different post.

Now that I'm more mature, I can see that my hatred of Sonic Colors is less about Sonic Colors itself, and more that every Sonic game afterwards tried so hard to have the exact same tone of Sonic Colors until arguably Sonic Forces.

I would argue Sonic Forces.

And it's just not fun to watch. I wanted to have fun watching someone play a game I liked. And I just can't trust that that's ever going to happen reliably.

No, this is not about any one particular streamer. I've just seen this happen so many times to so many seemingly normal streamers for these two games that I'm convinced there's a curse affecting specifically Sonic that makes otherwise chill people crash out when they see a blue hedgehog.

"What were they THINKING!?" I mean, they were thinking a lot of things, but instead of trying to understand the level design or the game structure or the character controls you're just kinda rushing your way through and then blaming the game for not working the way you expected it to...?

Me with the Sonic Adventure games, and honestly any Sonic game but especially the Sonic Adventure games. They're some of my favorite games of all times, but I have to actively avoid watching streamers play them because I can't risk the dealing with hearing them get bad mouthed.

It takes me out lol.

I love the artifacting that happens from each pass through the rollers, and the texture of the newsprint and cardstock is so cool
