Small WIP of my new #jayvik oneshot. We're already on the +10k words mark and not even close to finishing it, this was only supposed to be smut

Jayce didn’t need another word. He stripped fast, yanking his shirt over his head and shoving his sweats down in one swift motion, leaving them in a careless heap on the floor. Viktor’s mouth curved at the corner. A part of him wanted to scold, to make a game of the mess, maybe even punish him for it, but not tonight. He would be merciful this time.

Summary:
They were ready to be the final tithe to the arcane, a penance for their hubris and folly, until the Mage took their place. With the last of his power, they are thrown into another timeline, another life.

A second chance. A new life to live, in a world where minds do not know of magic. Of a world that harnessed different technology. One that never knew of them, or their crimes, their follies.

Jayce and Viktor now have to learn to navigate this new world, this new chance, and the ache they carry. They need to learn to heal, to move forward.

To hope once more and to finally do the good they set out to do, to no longer persue greatness.

To take each day as a new step forward.
