We are often reminded, in our darkest days, that we should imagine a future thing to live for- a movie or book or new love. I find it easier to think of a thing I am grateful I was able to experience and know that it’s twin waits patiently in the days before me.

It is necessary for your soul to create things without purpose. To imagine with no reward except to stretch your mind and soul. Please give yourself time and space to play and you cannot fail at play.

In this reality we must sometimes work hard to hold a positive feeling, as one must work to hold a heavy stone. But, as with holding a weight, we grow stronger. The weight seems lighter. One day we will hold our joy forever.
