we’re already rewarding India for (allegedly) killing a Canadian on Canadian soil (along with other crimes like arson, extortion, etc) so why not add China to the list for a lil hostage diplomacy?

No Canadian government should ever sit idly by while a representative of a foreign government tells a Canadian news program that the Canadian national police force, along with a former prime minister, effectively lied, writes Supriya Dwivedi. www.nationalobserver.com/2025/10/23/o...

World Series tickets now start at over $1,000.
In 1992, they were $24 which is about $50 today.
A beer at the game now costs more than a 1992 seat.

When did baseball become a luxury good?

The Liberals' Strong Borders Act (Bill C-2) is "batshit crazy," says @supriya.bsky.social.

What do you think? Are the privacy tradeoffs worth it if Mark Carney strikes a trade deal with Donald Trump?

A few months ago, I approached CBC News with a pitch about crypto ATMs, which are a preferred way for fraudsters to extract money from victims. Canada has the most crypto kiosks per capita, but it lags on regulation.

She tells it how it is to @supriya.bsky.social and me on #RealTalkRJ.

Kamala confesses - she wanted Pete Buttigieg on the 2024 ticket but didn't think America was ready for a Black woman and gay man at the same time.

@supriya.bsky.social sees it differently. How about you?

The most amazing part of this is that the far right didn't target her because she celebrated Kirk's death or even threw his own words back at them.

She merely expressed a well-founded worry that his murder might inspire the far right to greater violence and they apparently took that as a challenge.
I have no idea who you are. I meet a lot of people and have a public profile, I’m sorry I don’t remember you but it doesn’t seem like I’m missing much other than mansplaining so I’m good, girl
I mean I don’t know you and you went out of your way to tag me to disparage me and comment on an article I wrote about a subject that you (admittedly) know nothing about so I think you might want to take your own advice dude and get a life

have a nice day!
lmaoooo imagine commenting on a bill you haven’t read and then getting mad when that’s pointed out
Progressives always feeding into the echo chamber with such commentary as "area man". Got your likes. Par for the course.
area man comments on a bill — that he clearly hasn’t read — to suggest that interpreting the legislation exactly as it is written is “alarmist”
It’s not just simply one provision, the entire bill is a privacy nightmare bc the whole thing is overly broad in scope, but I’ve just been reminded by someone in my DMs that you were a reply guy to me on twitter so like you commenting on an article about a bill you haven’t read is at least on brand!

A little alarmist, dontcha think? And where is the proof this is happening within the Strong Borders Act? I can't deal with one issue policy topics when broader issues are at play.
it is quite literally in the bill dude, maybe you should read it before commenting on an article about it?

and good to know the expansion of the American surveillance state and freely handing over info without a warrant to American law enforcement doesn’t register as concern for you
Area man thinks it’s ok for Carney’s strong borders act to hand over health data — including women’s reproductive health data — over to US law enforcement, okie dokie!!
