I have no particular time for Prince Andrew, but the sheer hypocrisy of MPs and much of the media weighing in on him is just sickening. Very many of the MPs, especially the Tories, are on the make. God alone knows what sleaze they hide, and much of the media are sleazy & corrupt.

Yes, they're a thing and yes, the SK Navy is building them. Whether they're ever going to build a US nuclear sub is highly doubtful, however, as is everything else in his post.

I have to hand it to sourdough bread. It does stay fresh - well, not mouldy. But gods, it is so unrewarding to eat. I feel sorry for our Stone Age ancestors.
About 30 years ago a really good baker opened up in Tavistock. His Tiger bread was a revelation.

Most bread is, frankly, bloody awful. I abandoned my lunchtime sandwich (Marmite and tomato) because the non-gluten-free bread was like cardboard too. 🙄

My late beloved did a spreadsheet for me and left written guidance. I don’t understand spreadsheets but the notes he left were very useful and I blessed him for it. I’ve prepared a quick rundown of my finances as well for whenever the inevitable happens. Tough but satisfying. xxx

If you do run out of time or energy, I use Marigold organic bouillon powder, which can be low salt and is much easier than using fiddly stock cubes anyway, although they do make cubes. I've used it for years, and they do make a low salt version.
