This movie is like what MW show did to the books. Pick and choose as few bits as possible from the books and ignore the good bits, and write boringest, blandest dialogues and also cast the wrong actors for the roles.

Exactly 💯 and I don't think the writers will hold back. Anne Rice wrote Claudia as ruthless manipulative lil bitch that hated both her dads, incl. and esp. Louis, causing him to off himself (which already happened in s2e5), but some ppl who don't know the books won't be able to accept that.

Theres such a fascinating perception of Claudia being a "good" vampire for so much of iwtv because shes not like... good. She's just not a total asshole like lestat and louis. I loce her sm and part of that is because she's wreckless and kinda mean and vicious

Season 2 of Interview with the Vampire was just beautiful. The hurricane scene. The public execution under the spotlight in the theater. The barren blood in Romania due to the despair of war. Ughhh so good. Can’t wait for the new season now.
