makes me weep to think of the gifts robbed from us because unaffordable housing has made it difficult for people to pursue their passions and hobbies
Stuff like this really underscores how dumb reactionary politics are. It's just so transparently fake and disingenuous but yet so powerful. Shame on this electorate.
This is an example of what I’m talking about. Functionally, Patel is probably one of the movements most effective agents at delivering policy aims, but they want Patel gone because they hate the fact that he’s a part of this country AND he celebrates Diwali, that isn’t in the program.
Both target demos are strikingly similar in worldviews, despite having extreme disparate socioeconomic backgrounds.
It had plausible deniability for a while, but that’s all gone now. Maga is a cultural indoctrination program for laundering fascist tyranny.
maga is operationally unamerican at this point. the fixation on misdirection, psyops, and conspiracy thinking make it impossible to see anything rooted in good faith. nothing is genuine except for hatred of what america actually is.

You know who should get a nobel peace prize? Whoever invented the camera phone.
virtue signaling. he'll be made whole by the massive tax break he'll benefit from on his multimillion dollar farm. never hurts to get in front of a camera and talk up the holy Free Market™
“There is nothing wrong with America that cannot be cured by what is right with America.”
My 82-year-old mother told me yesterday that while she doesn't like Trump, she isn't worried for the country.

"We've been through this before. These guys never last long. There are too many good people in America."
talking about obscure references dredged out of nowhere like thats how we root nazis out of govt when the vp, who has an indian wife and indian kids, actively defends nazi rehetoric. the 2nd embarassment i get from reading this shit is too much
chasing clout is so fundamentally pathetic
yall are really reaching with these obscure nazi imagery references
The farmers who who don't like Trump now never liked him because they obviously know their business. Most US farmers like Trump because they're beneficiaries of generational wealth. They were always more interested in the tax cuts than his policy implications to actual farming.
also, a stat he cites in the article that I couldn't believe until I looked it up is that there are more people who voted for trump in LA county than in the entire state of Oklahoma. Oklahoma has 7 electoral votes.
I think Bouie is grossly overrated personally, but his opinion piece strikes resonance in the parallel he draws between the people's gripes with trump and the founders gripes with King George
