Caroline Lucas is wondering why Michelle Mone is still a member of the House of Lords

And most of us are wondering the same as well!

But if Mone is going to be removed from the Lords, there are others too who fail to meet the standard and should be removed as well

No surprise

Reform has become first UK political party to accept cryptocurrency donations. Ireland has banned such contributions precisely because they are untraceable. UK, as usual, has opened the door, & Farage is walking right through it, undermining democracy as he does @eastangliabylines.co.uk
Cryptocurrency: lawlessness disguised as liberty
Cryptocurrency is sold as radical innovation and financial liberation. In reality, it’s an old familiar story: fraud

BREAKING: Equinor has admitted that the massive Rosebank oil and gas field in the UK would cause vast climate damage.

*Pretends to be shocked* 😲

The UK government must STOP Rosebank, and instead focus on creating jobs in North Sea renewables!

I didn’t see a lot of comment about it, but there was a massive anti-abortion rally in parliament square a few weeks ago (same time as the Police were arresting lots of Pal Action supporters).

Lots of expensive infrastructure. Clearly very well funded.

The right-wing campaign group that helped topple Roe v Wade in the US is now working to roll back abortion laws in the UK, with the help of Nigel Farage.

Its first step? Trying to create a debate around "free speech"

Pritzker: "He wants to militarize major cities because he wants us to get used to the idea of troops on the streets. I believe he's gonna post people outside of polling places and if he needs to in order to control those elections, he'll assume control of the ballot boxes & count the votes himself"

This article manages to name her husband before it names… her.
Article reads:
Woman named as Archbishop of Canterbury in historic first

Europe inches closer to a toxic-free environment.

We are restricting the use of PFAS chemicals in firefighting foams.

These ‘forever chemicals' do not break down naturally, posing unacceptable risk to human health and the environment.

Cleaner choices, stronger protection ↓

A firefighter in a full-body, silver aluminized suit is holding a large nozzle, spraying a powerful stream of white firefighting foam onto the ground. In the blurred background, a red fire truck is visible. In the bottom left corner, there is a dark blue text overlay that reads "FOREVER CHEMICALS" in a large font, with "Restricting PFAS in firefighting foams" below it in a smaller font. In the bottom right corner is the logo of the European Commission.

Performative Political Policy at its very worst.

Opening the door wider for Facism with these fallacy appeasement measures is a shockingly spineless & dangerous move.

If only there was some sort of report on Russian interference in the 2016 Brexit referendum...

Shame we had a whitewash, toothless vehicle not even instructed to look anywhere significant organised by the guy that put the son of a kgb agent into the House of Lords.

"Everybody understand? Death penalty in Washington. You kill somebody or if you kill a police offier, law enforcement officer - death penalty."
