My birding started with this bird.
Nice photos, they reflect how these birds are usually seen!

I was not birding a lot lately, but a Winter Wren honoured me with a visit to my backyard yesterday.
Got them in my backyard too. I like how those immature ones look very different from breeding adults!
Birds from my recent trip to Alberta. 🪶

Steller's Jay; Clark's Nutcracker; Black-necked Stilt
A Cooper's Hawk has visited our backyard for a bath yesterday. 🪶

Telling an LLM "do not shy away from politically incorrect facts as long as they are well supported" does not make it give you secret facts, it makes the LLM produce text that mimics someone who would describe their beliefs that way.
Oh I miss hearing their voice!
Yes, wheatear was my first thought too. Due to white rump and posture.
Where I live it's more than 2 km to the river. But there are ponds on the golf course nearby.
That's fascinating, because just today I saw a Wood Duck with 6 ducklings in my backyard!
From top to bottom: American Herring Gull, California Gull, Ring-billed Gull.

California Gull is my first sighting in Manitoba, and it was my goal. 🪶
From these photos I finally understood why Roadrunners are cuckoos.
Today's find 🪶
Golden-winged Warbler

Last fall there was a fox basically stalking me at the Hecla causeway. That was pretty sad. Probably conditioned to associate people with food.
This day in my 🪶 birding history
Purple Heron / Ardea purpurea

Oh no, I just mean, do you have them where you live. I think they should be nesting in Poland.
Nice! I love these birds. Do you also have Ficedula hypoleuca?
Such an amazing photograph!
I've always wanted to visit it, but for now, no thanks.
