#LongCovid, #MECFS and #PAIS are medical and ethical emergencies. Though many people fail to recognise this as such.

On the ethical issues, our website with the video recordings of the talks held at the #postviralethics conference is now online!! 👇

La motion pour une Stratégie Nationale Suisse sur ME/CFS et Long Covid a été déposée au Parlement. Acceptez la! Nous connaissons presque tous quelqu'un dans nos cercles qui est atteint de Long COVID ou de ME/CFS.

The USAID thing: world’s richest man, in unelected job, closes agency that helps the world’s poorest and promotes democracy. Huh?

Bravo! Est-ce que tu arrives à lire leur « handwriting » ?

Ok, an anecdotal image - but this is what structure protection looked like in the 1935 Malibu fires. What a change in scale and character - of fire, of the built environment, of firefighting capacity (CCC boys then). Only the inevitability of fire in some form is constant.

It is often assumed that « more forests » is simply better and more sustainable, without careful consideration of how and where it happens, who wins and who loses, and what kinds of forests. How about a political ecology of forest transitions?
