I’d love to see this catch on all over
"A citizens group in Ontario, California is spearheading an effort to make the community aware of incidents involving federal immigration agents.

They're placing signs at the locations that read, 'ICE stole someone here'..."

Perceived reality is a house of cards built from a pack of lies.

But it’s all about to come crashing down when the next big lie is placed on top.

It is dispiriting to realize that both major political parties are complicit in the destruction of the country.

We are in our own now. Therefore we must fight harder and in more ways.

I’ve said before and will say again - a promise by the R’s here is less than worthless.

Scorpions and frogs.

D’s have the upper hand here if they hold the line - don’t cave!

“The deal would not include an extension of the expiring enhanced Affordable Care Act subsidies…but it would guarantee a vote in the Senate on the issue at a later date”.

Illusory promise.

I see this come up a lot lately. I'm not shocked to learn I am not the first to use this phrase. I didn't know FDR had used it as part of his New Deal address at the time I wrote this. I am proud to repeat it. History rhymes.

I've been shocked and disappointed for some time at how true it is that elections can be swayed by dollars and lies more than policy discussion and facts. I think this is why the R's feel invulnerable despite whatever they do. Let's redouble our efforts to change that.

Fatalism by definition is for people that consider themselves losers.
Heather Cox Richardson: November 2025 elections are what we need to focus on right now, and outcomes for issues like preserving mail-in ballots and appointing state supreme court members will depend heavily on voter turnout. @hcrichardson.bsky.social

Whatever history judges the outcome of this time to be, I hope there is a renewed reverence for plurality in all that has made America great. Consolidation of viewpoints into a single narrative is of the same evil that makes mega-mergers of corporate brands - it kills more than it creates.
