Rogers likely waited to see if Fox would air it. That way, Rogers can 'SimSub' Canadian ads over Fox's U.S. ads for cable and satellite subscribers in Canada. Messed up system.

Historically, both Bell and Rogers have broadcast live sports (if they own the rights) via their over-the-air TV stations when it suits them.

People in Toronto can still point their TV antenna at Lake Ontario and perhaps receive the Jays via 29.1 Fox Buffalo!
