I said all week Bournemouth are good, and they are, but that we are man for man a lot better and are such a well drilled outfit.

That point applies to the vast majority of our remaining games. If we play anywhere close to our best, we win them.

Happy New Year to everyone, but especially those who support a team who is going to win the league this year

Izzy Christiansen again with the
‘If Liverpool get a few injuries it could get tighter’. Are these pundits incapable of doing even the most basic research?
December 29, 2024 at 7:50 PM
If everyone continues to get the same PPG as in the first half of the season AFC finish on 76, CFC on 74, NFFC on 75.

Based on that we would need 32 points from 20 games to clinch the league

It won’t turn out the way, but it highlights how impeccable the others need to be from now on to close up.

That’s as efficient as you will see. Work like dogs to break them, rack up the goals and then down through the gears to conserve energy. Perfect away day. Mad thing is, not even sure we played that well😂

Could be a big win in the fight against relegation for City to be fair
December 26, 2024 at 2:25 PM
The one in Citys favour is that Pep is one of the best coaches of all time, he should have no problem turning this around with his level of genius.

Such an incredible coach won’t just have to resort to getting the cheque book out again and again.

Many (me included) worried about going into season with Grav as main no.6, Slot knew best.

Everyone clamouring for a 9, Slot quietly converts Diaz to a brilliantly effective false 9

I’m beginning to think this Slot
guy knows best and we should all just buckle up and see where it takes us.

Must be a fair while since Merseyside had more points than Manchester at this stage of a season.

Brilliant fight that, Fury so much better than in recent fights. No controversy whichever way goes as so many rounds were really close.

Carry On. Die Hard meets Phone Booth meets Passenger 57. And what a fun mash up that makes. Really entertaining movie.

I think instructions for Sunday are relatively easy: ‘Press the fuck out of Forster and shoot on site’
December 19, 2024 at 9:54 PM
Hahaha this is high quality comedy. Spurs and United fighting to be the most Spursy.
December 19, 2024 at 9:48 PM
Any chance Forster could save one of these for the weekend?
December 19, 2024 at 9:29 PM
I think we can all agree how relieved we are that the Blues period of turmoil is over and we can all joining in wishing them a very positive start to the new regime with a good home win at the weekend.

Good luck Blues, we’re right behind you 👍👍

24 games: 20 wins, 3 draws. 1 defeat.

I don’t know where this season will take us, but I do know that Slot took on a job most of thought nigh on impossible (replacing a legend) and he’s blowing expectations totally out of the water.

What a start, what a gaffer.

I mean that’s a lovely goal, but Hooper just saw Endo take the ball flush in the face and hit the deck. Shouldn’t he have technically have stopped play?
December 18, 2024 at 9:17 PM
Commentator just said ‘you just feel like they are one really good pass way from creating a good chance’

Isn’t the literally the case in every game of football, ever?
December 18, 2024 at 8:22 PM
If City weren’t totally ruined before, this will do it. 1 win in 11, playing shite and beaten by a side who are actually even worse than them in the circumstances…. Ouch.
December 15, 2024 at 6:29 PM
That’s legit one of the worst hours of football I’ve ever watched.
December 15, 2024 at 5:54 PM
Kyle Walker, total embarrassment
December 15, 2024 at 5:10 PM
No question that Szobo has raised his game in the last few weeks. Wondering if this is a drawback of having a smallish squad? With Elliott injured and Jones out for a while he has no competition. As soon as the returned he has definitely gone up a notch or too.

Someone with a better memory than me, didn’t we score a goal this season where one of the players got fouled when clean through, but it broke to another who finished it, therefore the ref didn’t give a red card for DOGSO?
December 15, 2024 at 10:22 AM
So the Robbo red was for DOGSO. Even though Wilson wasn’t getting Back to the ball after his touch, and they still got a shot away. So it didn’t dent a goal scoring opportunity

Also, he allowed play to go on, they shot and THEN he pulled it back, they got the advantage and free kick.
December 15, 2024 at 10:17 AM
I’ve seen plenty times when a pen is given after a defender goes to clear the ball, Striker comes from blindside and nicks it and the defender makes contract. The logic is always that intent doesn’t come into it, it’s just a foul

How is that any different to Tete on Gomez? He literally takes him out
