Getting the idea when 5live planned this phone in on the Welsh Parliament By Election it was on the basis there would be a Reform victory so they could bang on about a political earthquake! Somehow don’t think they wanted to spend an hour talking about Plaid Cymru! Shame that (not really!) #wato

So Reform UK didn’t win in Wales - despite all the hype! Poor result for Labour but the defeat was expected! Pity the poor #r4today presenters this morning though - having to bin off their narrative about Farage and his rancid crew on the march right across the UK!

Absolutely - and I doubt he’ll get the Republican nomination for 2028 anyway. The last big card Trump has left to play is his endorsement for the next Presidential election and I doubt he’ll use that on Vance (he’s already ditched one Vice President after all). He’ll want to play Kingmaker big time!

If he’s hoping to create a legacy by vandalising the White House and building the Trump Ballroom he’ll be disappointed! Actually - in the image, there’s just 1 magazine not owned by IPC - tv satellite week which was owned by Bauer (probably still is). Still illustrates the point about the lack of genuine choice though)

Possible the outage is evidence that the internet is becoming like the supermarket with the illusion of choice - look at all those soap powders (actually just brands owned by Lever Brothers or Johnson & Johnson, so actually a choice of 2)! Or tv guides all owned by IPC! #r4today
