If you’re a trade unionist and you think Angela Rayner is the enemy, your judgement is very poor - and you’ll end up with very few friends and allies.

I charged my car at a Shell Recharge point for 1 hour 13 minutes. Now I’ve got a £100 parking ticket from them! Never again - and it was far too expensive anyway. Never again

Upcoming by election in St Ann’s ward.

We had large teams out in the morning and afternoon yesterday.

Residents really pleased with:

✅ Investment in Chestnuts Park
✅ Improvements to Local School Buildings
✅ New Trees + Street Lighting
✅ New Council Homes

With Trump, an unreliable ally, in the WH, Labour’s increase in defence spending is absolutely right. But funding it from overseas development is wrong and shortsighted.

News media should be pointing out that this “ petition” has lots of fraudulent signatories. Postcodes have been circulated on twitter for Americans to use. One of those postcodes is for my local Labour Party Office. Others include Parliament and Windsor castle.

This. Xactly my experience. I wanted to feel this. Now I do. Bsky now the go to.
I’m now hitting @bsky.app each morning before all others and spending a lot more time here. We’ve had other social media platforms come along over the past couple of years but nothing I’ve seen is changing habits as quickly as this one. In just 7 days it’s become my go to first platform for news

I know people are desperate for a Labour betrayal narrative.

But it is perfectly possible for all employees to have protection from unfair dismissal from day one, and employers to operate a six mo probation period.

The key is whether the dismissal is for fair reasons and following a fair process
we can reveal that companies will be able to keep new hires on probation for up to six months under a compromise Labour plan despite an election pledge to give employees “day one rights”
