I did my nails for the first time in many months, and I feel a little bit more like my old self.

Is anyone else travelling to @canconsffh.bsky.social from Toronto on the 1:23 train on the 16th? I'm hoping to find someone to split the cost of the cab to the hotel.

The upper left corner is filled with the curved glass structure of Roy Thomson Hall, sunlight hitting the individual, diamond shaped panes. Along the bottom of the frame, participants in Word on the Street walk back and forth in bright sunlight. Some push children in strollers. Some walk alone.

Decided to watch this today as I need a good cry. And to see people being lovely to each other. Nothing's even happened yet and I'm a mess already.

As an example: AI doesn't understand "no." Because the statements "no ketchup on my burger" and "ketchup on my burger" are almost identical to a machine that does not and cannot actually reason. It's only a 2 letter difference.
AI doesn't know 'no' – and that's a huge problem for medical bots
Many AI models fail to recognise negation words such as “no” and “not”, which means they can’t easily distinguish between medical images labelled as showing a disease and images labelled as not showin...

One of those films that's absolutely perfect. Never fails to delight me. I think I'm due for a rewatch.

I'm reading the new Thursday Murder Club book and I'm hearing all the characters in the voices of the actors from the movie. Which ain't half bad considering how great the cast was.

Aren't they? I'm seething with envy 😆

On the outdoor platform, the curving buttresses hold up the roof, the perspective receding from left to right. At the far left of the frame, a streetcar waits in the brightly lit background. Framed by the structures around him, a bearded TTC employee in a hi vis stands, one leg extended as if kicking a ball. He is surrounded by the flow of riders going in various directions.

The left third of the is the wall of a building where we see queer iconography in a painted mural. It is the side of a barber shop where we see an Asian man talking on the phone. Further right, on the street leading to the intersection in the far right background is a young, black woman walking toward the camera. Further right, another man walks in the same direction, his head down. At the far right edge of the frame, another person waits at the sunlit intersection for the light to change
