The Blue Jays are using American, Fourth of July, bunting to decorate SkyDome. In the past, they’ve used Canadian, red and white, bunting with a Jays logo at centre. Hey #bluejays can we get rid of the American branding around the house? @torontobluejays.bsky.social

@wilnerness.bsky.social Mike, I notice the Jays are decorating the dome with the traditional (American) bunting, stars, stripes, red, white, blue. In years past, the club has used Canadian bunting, red and white with Blue Jays logo in centre. Now of all times… to whom do I complain?

Mike, there’s an error here, halfway down, between a Pillar and Lee comment: “Revere was forced at second, so with one out in a 3-3 tie, Bautista came to the plate with runners on the corners.” There were 2 outs. Pompey forced at home, Revere forced at 2nd after Donaldson bloop. 2 outs.

But… the President says the country sending the thing pays the tariff. Surely, the President, himself a successful businessman, a stable genius and a Nobel laureate, understands how tariffs work? Surely. Because what you are describing is a tax. And the GOP and the dear leader are against taxes.

But you throw to first, get the out, and eliminate the double play. It was the DP that got them out of that inning vs. (had the opposition sac bunted successfully) the chance of an errant throw to first ending the game on that ground ball.

Pitching to Judge when he represents the tying run, especially when bullpen has been shaky this week, was also not a good idea. Treat him like Bonds in high leverage.
