#RobReiner was one of the few directors who respected children and their complex personalities. He created children's entertainment that was intelligent, compassionate, funny, and something whole families to enjoy together. The US is a hostile place to children, but he made it better. RIP.

Very sad today. 2025 will go down as the worst year in my lifetime.
Indeed. His films shaped culture—and his advocacy shaped conscience. Rob Reiner was a formidable champion for social justice and human rights, on and off the screen.
