I fell like there’s a secret clause in the contract of all airport designers that says something like “make nowhere silent, even the quiet zones and let’s make the lights extra bright so ND people feel like they might explode in the glare.”

So sad today is the last full day of my trip. Being legally required to be home within a month because of my current signed off sick status when just a few more days would have been the best possible outcome feels very cruel. Going to have to hope my good intentions linger in the air to be felt.

Rambling around a stunning Loch Ness, getting a discount on food because of the jumper I was wearing, seeing a pine marten & deer, exploring a wildly ramshackle but amazing bookshop and making pizza outside in a wood burning stove as the sun set. The Highlands has treated me wonderfully today!

2.5 hours on a rail replacement bus with 3 people who did not stop talking. Safely at my mates and amazed by how different the dark is up here!
