America used to have a thing called The Fairness Doctrine. It was designed in 1949 to ensure fair and balanced coverage of controversial public issues. Of course Reagan killed it in 1987 and ever since the news has never been trustworthy. Does the UK have or ever had something similar?

Doesn't matter. If you truly believe that all humans are created equally, then you have to let the stupid ones vote too. Inalienable Freedoms are not conditional and never should be.

It's never, "Hey, you shouldn't vote for this person because this person over here has better policies." It's always some sort of threat. As though they see themselves as such an important person and that's enough to change votes. Never policy, always narcissism.

Do you think it's cause they don't want people to recieve the same message the 1964 version? It seems like things of substance are not allowed to be made anymore unless it's horror.

Same with music, you would never hear a song like What It's Like by Everlast on the radio these days.
