I think I've ranted about it on twitter before but I'm doing it again because it is one of those things that exists as a recurrent question in my head-- but where do people exactly draw the line between headcanons and actual interpretations/readings of the text when things aren't (+)

I'm sometimes a bit reluctant to analyse ongoing stories because I can end up feeling like a complete clown when things don't actually build up to what I thought they were building up to.
It's not even a bad thing most of the time because I feel that I'm generally good at adapting my (+)

Sasaki to Miyano has me feeling mixed because I watched the anime a couple of years ago and I thought it was really cute-- but after I started reading it + over time I increasingly found myself vexed by some of Sasaki's character quirks and I just don't vibe with the story as much anymore :(
