I should clarify that my complaints are mostly rooted in the 50501 movement itself and its horrifyingly corrupt leadership, and the clear possibility that they're selling off protesters' personal information to fascists. The whole thing is a scam. The protesters themselves are the victims really

If you didn't hear about the original 50501 scandal, let me see if I can dig up the Reddit link. The original founder of 50501 was booted out of his own organization by a bunch of corporate people who registered the trademark for the name behind his back and then took over the subreddit

People've been calling them out on this shit for months. Haven't you seen the scandal here on Bluesky where boatloads of people were calling out 50501 goons for trying to get people to register or RSVP for protests which is unneeded? They're collecting protesters' personal info and can't be allowed
